Yeah,  this pushing of the trans agenda makes me uneasy. Particularly, when we encourage young kids to transition instead of helping them work through their confusion.  Here is an article that supports your assertions that trauma generally predates the identification as trans.

I just read this article. 

It really suggests that patients shouldn’t trust their doctors anymore because their doctors cannot be patient advocates because they are being coerced. Is this true?

My husband and my brother as examples. Yes it’s just anecdotal but still, serious, serious multigenerational trauma, ACEs in the 7-10 range and disorganized attachment for generations. 

And my own experience.  I don’t want to upset anyone but there must be others out there of the 30 plus thousand ACEsConnection members with a similar lived experience.... (that I do not want to tell anyone about, but not to speak up could be devastating for a young person).  I, like many, had a very sick father who would every Saturday morning call for me or my brother to come to his bed.  My brother and I would wake up before he did and meditate for hours, “I hope it’s not me,” knowing full well it would mean he chose the other.    

When I entered puberty at 11-12, I was mortified.  I didn’t know what this sick man would do to me and to my changing body. I was already terrified of him.  I prayed and meditated and begged and begged and begged God not to allow my body to change into a “woman.”  I could have been caught up in transitioning myself if I were an adolescent now because that’s how badly I did not want to be a “woman.”  

If there is just a handful of girls who could be in this situation, I shudder to think what will happen in 10-15 years when that child wonders what happened, why no one protected her and god forbid, if she wonders why she was ever allowed to have a double mastectomy and wants to take it all back? 

Where are the physicians on all this and where is the hard science and the hard data because this really worries me too?
