3.3 million children would lose health insurance under the AHCA - Act now

Primary care for children care is a key part of identifying Adverse Childhood Experiences and *stopping* them from inflicting permanent damage by providing children and families the support they need. Without coverage, our children will make fewer of these necessary visits to providers.

Is this healthcare? Will this provide for the well-being of our children and families? What will this do to the much-needed ACEs prevention and intervention that can happen in primary care settings?

If you are concerned, and want the Senate healthcare bill to be vastly different than the House bill, and want open hearings and testimony on it (currently the Senate bill is being designed in secrecy with no hearings and Mitch McConnell is trying to get it sent to the floor for a vote without an amendment process or hearings), NOW is the time to get involved and let your Senators hear your concerns and wishes. Of particular importance are Repuplican Senators who might vote no and who might push back against the process. My Senator, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and also Bob Corker of Tennessee have already spoken up and complained about the secrecy of the process -- let's keep contacting them to support that stance and tell them what you *do* want in a healthcare bill; also contact their colleagues Sullivan (AK) and Alexander (TN).
