I enjoy this community of advocates for change, so much so that I felt compelled to share our drafted national conference program. I rarely send any draft of anything unless it's to stakeholders we are working with, however, when you review this program along with some of our plans, I believe you will want to participate.
We know that many children benefit from increased resilience through healthy and more specific paternal involvement during pregnancy and throughout life. We also understand that tens of millions of children just in the U.S. do not have a dad and for many, a growing number a mom actively involved in the support of healthy development to increase the wellness of children. Our national conference is the only event in our nation that puts an emphasis on continuous quality improvement strategies to strengthen families, increase wellness of children and be part of building healthier communities. The latter objective of FFCA's overall goals to increasing capacity of providers is a great opportunity within to even extend training, information, resources and change on how to engage fathers? why is it important to address the effects of fatherlessness on boys and girls? and ultimately, create lasting impacts for the capacity of professionals and agencies to improve program designs or creative models. Our efforts strive to edify current and new professionals on pressing community and family needs and issues but taking awareness to concrete action for social change and family engagement.
Today, I am sharing an opportunity to save the date to join us in Los Angeles. The event information can be located here
