Hi Ana, I signed up to get notifications before even writing my comment (I must have accidentally hit return on a draft to have gotten 2 comments in!!) :-)
I hugely appreciated your interview even though I'm not a parent. I've been using the same kinds of approaches and tools to heal from chronic illness and sharing that info for others with chronic health conditions that have no awareness of ACEs or the journey with mindfulness/ meditation / mind body / trauma therapies / awareness aqnd understanding of triggers / self compassion can all do to help.
And that we really aren't alone but that these beliefs really are part of an unrecognized burden shared by so many in our culture.
I especially appreciate how completely honest you are Ana and Joyelle about sharing that parenting really is so much about doing one's own inner work and honoring that journey (rather than blaming the child as we so often do in our culture). I find the same to be true in chronic illness.
Looking forward to seeing your documentary when it becomes more widely available!
Thank you Veronique! I think this documentary is really about everyone, not just parents, we were all children once afterall! Where are you located? and please sign to our mailing list so we can keep you posted on future screening and opportunities to watch! (or follow us on social media!)

Thank you Joyelle for a wonderful conversation. You are an inspiration and I loved talking about the movie with you and exploring how our parenting hard-times are opportunity to heal.
