Hello ACES Connection members! Today is the last day of National Foster Care Month. This month I made the decision to form a new group, ACES in Foster Care, in recognition of the children and adults who have an interest, experience, or passion for foster care. Thanks to Jane for her guidance and support with this new endeavor! My hope is that this group will stimulate some constructive dialogue and positive solutions to the challenges still present with the Foster Care System. Recently read, "It's not always possible to cure all the pain in the world, yet we do have the capacity to care for people who still suffer."
