Thank you for the link. At Morton College the adult basic education GED/high school equivalency is a separate but integral department. That department is interested in becoming Ace aware. I am attempting to facilitate. We are having a brown bag presentation this fall. The documentation I have reviewed on ACE indicates that there may be a high percentage of people who have not completed school and are now serviced by that department. They are looking for materials at a low reading level that they can use in the course of teaching people to read. This could be examples of successful amelioration's. They will not cover them as a topic but just use them in the course of their normal instruction.
