Adult Treatment Court Collaborative Grantee Profile ATCC Project, Cleveland Municipal Court

The Cleveland Adult Treatment Court Collaborative (ATCC) includes the Municipal and Common Pleas treatment courts. Their policy is a “no wrong door”entry into the ATCC program. To provide the widest reach, the ATCC uses a common screening tool that is administered at the jail, court psychiatric clinic, or at one of their specialized dockets to identify eligible participants. Most referrals come from the mental health court dockets. Eligible individuals are referred to the project’s case manager for additional screening and referral tothe treatment provider for a clinical assessment. ATCC participants remain in their original court, and there is not a requirement thatthere be common program phases. The Cleveland ATCC has a wide range of treatment services available to the program participants.
