Advice sought on publication

A physician colleague in Florida has been studying ACEs in the juvenile corrections system, relating certain aspects to various outcomes like recidivism, and is getting close to have an article for publication.  I think it should be in a corrections, judicial, or legislative journal.  However, I'm totally unfamiliar with those and would like some experienced advice on what journals to consider.  Who has suggestions here?

Vince,

You might check with Bea Yorker in LA. She holds a JD and an RN degree. Here is a blurb about her:

Bea Yorker, Dean, College of Health and Human Services, California State University, Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA

Bea Yorker assumed the position of Dean of the College of Health and Human Services at California State University, Los Angeles after four years as Director of the School of Nursing at San Francisco State University.

Ms Yorker also holds an appointment as Professor at the School of Criminal Justice and Criminalistics.
Her article, Serial Murder by Healthcare Professionals, analyzed data on 90 prosecutions worldwide and was published in the Journal of Forensic Sciences last November.  She continues to be a leader in the field of Forensic Nursing, conducting research on crime in hospitals and advocating for victims of violence.

Chris, thanks so much.  I'm beginning to see the value of social media  for other than loneliness.  Jane Stevens was right!

I contacted my local reference law librarian and she referred me to this database:

http://lawlib.wlu.edu/lj/index.aspx

I chose journal names she mentioned as well as some under the subject heading: Health, Medicine, Psychology, Psychiatry (in the dropdown). I used Peer-edited, Refereed, & Ranked filters in addition to some specific Ranking filters. The results list is below.

I don't profess to be an expert at using this database but perhaps this sample will edify and inspire further exploration of this database. Local law libraries have reference librarians who *might* be able to help more. Hopefully someone here has a legal background and can be of more assistance. I put the word out on Twitter as well so hopefully we will get some responses beginning of next week.
