The Alberta Family Wellness Institute routinely scans academic journals for research articles related to its mission and vision. This literature search is designed to return scholarly academic articles in the topic areas of child and brain development, mental health, and addictions. Subtopics searched in these areas include prevention, therapy, education, policy, and economics. Databases included in the literature search are PubMed, Medline, PsycINFO, CINAHL, Academic Search Complete and Family & Society Studies Worldwide. Here are a few from December.
