Become an Echo Trauma Trainer

I wanted to tell you about our SUMMER ACADEMY - TRAIN THE TRAINER your opportunity to become a facilitator for Echo's Trauma & Resilience training.

In June, we will be holding a 3-day intensive to train future Echo trainers and others who want to become facilitators in our 6-hour Trauma & Resilience training. Covering the basics, such as the Adverse Childhood Experience Study, the triune brain, the impact of trauma on the nervous system, trauma responses and trauma-informed care, this curriculum is a foundational course for any trauma survivor or professional working with survivors.

We will select participants through an interview process. Organizations are welcome to submit applications on behalf of a specific staff member.*

*Please note, Echo is the Trainer for this course - graduates will not be able to train other people to teach the Trauma & Resilience training.

For more information, please see our website.

Hi there! We don't have this online since it is a Train the Trainer and we believe in-person training is very important not only to make sure there is a sound and thorough understanding of the material but also so that we can assess whether someone is ready to be released into the world as a trainer of this course!

The course is being held in Los Angeles. We opted for a 3-day training to help those who are coming in from out-of-town. It is the first time we have offered this, so we no doubt will learn in the process. We plan to repeat it each year.

If you are interested, we have extended the application deadline to the end of the week (May 3rd).

I found this information on their website link:  Interview process to attend.

Anyone can apply to the course, but since Echo is also using this opportunity to identify and train potential trainers for Echo,
we are keeping the group small and will be using a selection process that includes an in-person interview.

Those interested should submit an application and a resume to steodoro@echotraining.org by April 30.

Interviews will take place during the first two weeks of May.
