In times like these where accessible mental health resources are dwindling or filled to capacity, as a mental health professional, I am compelled to seek resources outside the box. And what I am finding astonishes me.
I met with the LA Chapter of B.A.C.A., Bikers Against Child Abuse and what they do, free of charge, for children who have been physically or sexually abused needs to be known. Any child who has a current case in the system (which is a cold and frightening process) is eligible for their services and can be referred by any individual or organization. The Los Angeles Chapter has the capacity and the heart to take on new cases. Please refer. Let go of the stereotypes you may have in your head. These guys are the real deal. Here's a link to a video about them.
(Here's the link to the international organization, and the California chapter.)
