Have you ever wondered what causes rifts in relationships?
You and someone else have developed a close friendship. Maybe its a best friend with whom you share all your thoughts or even a romantic relationship which leads to a commitment to spend the rest of your lives together.
However, at times something gets in the way of that relationship and what was once awesome is now only average - or worse - acrimonious.
I wish I had a great insight or answer to that scenario. Instead I only have regrets that I've allowed myself to be victimized by the same fears that eat away at many relationships.
Ah. Fear. Maybe that is exactly what causes the problems. Fear of missing out; fear of failure; fear of unrequited feelings. Maybe it's fear of knowing how to really be happy and content and at peace.
Today, you will meet someone who, whether they know it or not, is afraid to let down their facades and let someone in. Maybe they have been the victim of abuse, neglect, drama or trauma in their lives and know the pain all those can cause.
Be the calm in their lives. Show them your love is unfailing and unconditional. Remind them of how awesome a great relationship can be!
