As part of the summit, an assistant US attorney from Detroit is sharing the abuse he endured as a child at the hands of his soccer coach.

Kevin Mulcahy said these are “crimes of secrecy, crimes of shame and guilt, and that’s what the abusers try and play out. That’s what happened to me. The shame and guilt of it really weighed on me, and I think that’s what they’re counting on, what the abuser is counting on.”...
