Michelle Dyson is a Consumer Advocate Network (CAN) Advocate and Director of Training and Outreach. Michelle brings over 40 years of personal and familial lived experience to her role as advocate. Her mission is to educate the community, friends, family members, and first responders in Mental Health Crisis Models and to promote person to person communication and relationships. With a background in customer service and office administration, Michelle advocates for persons with mental health and substance use challenges and conducts CAN-developed (Rights and Recovery) trainings and is certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid (AMHFA) and Emotional CPR (eCPR).
