It's wonderful to see the criminal justice system acknowledge the science associated with early childhood development and its direct impact on criminal behavior, I believe policy makers willingness to direct resources into the efforts necessary to impact social change will be greatly increased, and as a result society itself might choose to give real honor to the caretakers (and the support they need to do the job really well) along with the overall challenges associated with developing resilience in our children and ultimately in our world .
