We’re pleased to announce that B.K. Bose of Niroga Institute has been selected to present at The Institute for Educational Leadership’s 2019 National Family and Community Engagement Conference in Reno, NV!
This convening is a wonderful professional development and networking opportunity for state leaders, school and district leaders, administrators, educators, community-based organizations, researchers and families to come together and focus on solutions that enhance and expand engagement and improve student success through family-school-community partnerships.
Under the theme Promote Inclusion, Ensure Equity and Create Opportunity, the workshop session, co-facilitated with Lynda Tredway of the Institute for Educational Leadership, will focus on Developing Mindful Trauma-Informed Schools, Families and Communities.
To be held on Thursday July 11, 2019 in Reno, Nevada, this dynamic and interactive workshop will combine short didactic sections with small-group breakouts and large-group experiential practices. It will integrate cognitive, emotional and kinesthetic learning - an experience that participants can immediately apply in their life and work.
If you are unable to attend the conference, please consider attending one of Niroga Institute's Dynamic Mindfulness Trainings this summer in Oakland or Los Angeles. More information here.
