ACE Resource Network | Sacramento Community Coordinator
ABOUT US | The ACE Resource Network is a philanthropic initiative with a goal of reducing childhood adversity by raising awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress, promoting healing, and advancing
research and policy. Our team worked closely with the first California Surgeon General, Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, to develop and launch the first national awareness and education campaign, NumberStory.org and
HistoriaDeTuNumero.org, on ACEs, toxic stress, hope, and healing. In the campaign’s first year, we reached tens of millions of people across the country through partnerships, celebrity and influencer engagements, radio, TV,
social media, and other strategies and platforms.
Over the next year and a half, we’re focusing on Sacramento County. We’re launching a local public awareness campaign, and investing in community supports to build resiliency and prevent and reduce childhood adversity.
We’re in the process of forming a local community advisory group to help inform our work.
ROLE | The ACE Resource Network is seeking a Sacramento Community Coordinator to help support and facilitate our Sacramento initiatives. This is a full-time, time-limited position, beginning in December 2022 or January 2023 with an anticipated end date in July 2024. Depending on funding, this position may extend beyond July 2024.
