This is a great idea, Kathy. Feel free to start the group by going to the Groups tab in the navigation bar, and then clicking on "add group". Keep the description short. Then use the search function in the Members section to search for people in Southern California, and invite them.

If you start the group, I'll announce it In the next e-newsletter.
