Free Online Trauma & Resilience Training for Camp Counselors & Staff

The summer of 2020 will be challenging for children returning to organized activities and the camp counselors and staff they encounter. Months away from school and after-school programs may mean children will be showing up with new and unreported trauma.

Three sessions of free online training for summer camp counselors and staff are available next week.

The Family Center of Brockton, MA has partnered with Plymouth Youth Development Collaborative (PYDC) and the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office to offer Camp Counselor & Staff Training: Trauma & Resilience.

The training will offer an introduction to Adverse Childhood Experiences and resilience and offer some practical tips and coping strategies.
