Have You Ever Lost Your Cool?

 

Have you ever been snarky with a partner?  Yelled at your kids?  Lost it in rush hour traffic or when you couldn’t find your keys?  Then you, my friend, have failed to self- regulate! 

No judgement here!  Unfortunately, this is a skill we’ve never been taught and because of that...we see ourselves failing day in and day out.

When we lose our cool, uncomfortable feelings come up and we start to feel shame, disconnection, guilt, or anger for our actions.  We question ourselves and wonder who we really are. What’s wrong with us?

Living like this causes us to stray away from our own hearts and integrity, and move further away from who we want to be.  A loving partner.  A supportive, calm parent. 

But what if you could learn how to keep your cool? 

We are thrilled to have developed a framework called “Forward Facing ME” to teach self regulation skills in a peer to peer format under the direction of our Founders, Dr. Eric Gentry and Jenny Brackman!

This group is a powerful, transformational online experience that runs for 90 minutes for 7 weeks and teaches the skills you need to stay on course so you can be who you really want to be...all within a safe space.  You dive right in and create your own “Code of Honor” that you intentionally choose to live by, hone in on your personal mission statement, and learn to move through the difficulties of any situation with integrity.

As the weeks pass, you’ll realize that you can regain comfort and control of yourself- no matter the stressful external conditions you face. 

Less stress.  More freedom.  You can take back control of how you show up in the world.
