High Interest in Inaugural Regional Academies

Final preparations for the inaugural Regional Academy on Violence and Abuse (AVA) on April 16 are being completed. More than 300 people have registered to attend this event, which is sponsored by the Academy on Violence and Abuse (AVA) and local community organizations.

On April 17, the second Regional Academy will take place in Akron, Ohio -- about the same number of people are registered. The AVA is eager to work with other communities and organizations to organize a similar Regional Academy in their areas. The program for the event is attached:
