How Social Movements Change Minds [hbr.org]

Most likely, marketing expert Greg Satell's recent article for the Harvard Business Review was written for the business community.  In it he suggests what relevant branding lessons can be gleaned from effective social movements such as the Civil Rights movement or more recent efforts to gain rights for the LBGT community. His suggestions may also be useful to the ACEs Connection Community as many of us work to build a social movement to reduce and prevent ACEs and create a more just, healthy and resilient world. Satell argues that successful social movements: 1) start by attacking perceptions; 2)  build connections through personal contact, rather than trying to burst on the scene all at once. and 3)  connect to the mainstream.

How can we use, or how are you already using these concepts to build a social movement around ACEs and resilience?
