Please help us welcome Ingrid Cockhren as the newest member of our ACEs Connection team.
Ingrid is our new Midwest community facilitator. She comes to us with seven years of experience in ACEs science, childhood trauma, brain development and psychology. She has been working with children, adolescents and families for the last 15 years and is currently the chair of Parent and Community Education of ACE Nashville, a collective impact ACEs initiative. She is a psychology professor at Tennessee State University and an advisor for Vanderbilt Translational Research Department.
Ingrid joins an ACEs Connection team of 14 others united by a mission to accelerate the international ACEs movement by bringing cross-sector communities and individual ACE champions together to prevent ACEs, heal trauma, and build resilience.
ACEs Connection is led by founder, publisher and CEO Jane Ellen Stevens; Gail Kennedy, community lead; and Samantha Sangenito, data and sustainability lead.
Ingrid joins four community facilitators (Karen Clemmer of Northern CA, Donielle Prince of the San Francisco/Bay Area of CA, Carey Sipp of the Southeast US Region, and Cissy White of the Northeast US Region); Alicia Doktor, network manager; Elizabeth Prewitt, policy analyst; Laurie Udesky, journalist and community manager of ACEs in Pediatrics; Morgan Vien, resources manager; Val Krist, graphic artist; Sylvia Paull, strategic advisor; and Dana Brown, organizational liaison.
