Job opening: Trauma-informed services consultant for National Council for Behavioral Health

The National Council for Behavioral Health’s Trauma-Informed Care team is looking for a person to take on a full-time staff position. The job location is in Washington, D.C. but consideration for a remote location is possible. 

The Trauma-Informed Care team initiatives have helped hundreds of mental health and addiction treatment organizations across the country map out and operationalize a plan for delivering trauma-informed services. The consultant will help support the growing demand for trauma-informed care consultation and training.

Basic requirements are a Masters of Social Work, RN, or related health profession, and five to seven years' experience in delivering or consulting on trauma-related services, trauma theory and research, and facilitating training sessions.
