As the Communications Coordinator for the department,  you will lead the creation and coordination of digital content to assure strategic, effective and consistent delivery of information to the public and to employees.

OVERVIEW:

The Strategic Engagement Team provides department-wide support with the creation of coordinated external communications and engagement activities. This includes the triage of emerging issues, implementation of strategic, initiatives, project management and high level logistical support to the director and department divisions.

As part of the Strategic Engagement Team, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate the department’s digital online strategies across web, social media and other communications platforms.
  • Lead the creation and coordination of digital content to assure strategic, effective and consistent delivery of information to the public and to employees.
  • Work as a project manager for high level initiatives.
  • Manage and support digital related projects including website enhancements, social media communities and content.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of communications and engagement through analytics; draft reports and provide recommendations tomanagement.
