Jordana Steinberg, a second-year student at Sierra College, battled a severe childhood mood disorder and says she now wants to be an activist. “I want to be the person who helps other people,” said Jordana, daughter of state Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, who has been a prominent advocate for expansion of mental health services.
