Looking for inspirational stories

Hello Jose, 

I am a poet, child psychiatrist, and humanism in medicine awardee. As a young child I was sexually assaulted. I also experienced bullying from my father whom I also loved very much. I wrote a healing from trauma story, Bird That Wants to Fly, that inspired a children's opera and is narrated by the actor, Danny Glover. The story is quite tender, as the bird can fly, but because of being bullied and other forms of violence, is too afraid to fly, so instead just walks. The music and lyrics are beautiful.
