This is very exciting news for Canada since we generally don't talk about ACEs directly here and few ACE studies have been conducted in the Canadian population.

We are increasingly getting researchers and pediatricians talking about ACEs, but still very few talk about them in the context of affected adults, even though Dr. Gabor Mate is Canadian and an avid promoter of the fact that childhood pain and trauma inform many of our lives.

I've ordered my copy.

Can't wait to read the Canadian content.

Hopefully this book will help propel our ACEs and Trauma-Informed movement forward in Canada.

Just to be clear, I have no relationship with the authors of this book. I'm just thankful they wrote it and excited to read it and encourage all Canadians to join me in ensuring the essential knowledge of ACEs is made universally available to all Canadians.
