NEW YEAR. NEW YOU.

Take the road less traveled.

As the New Year quickly approaches, many of us spend time in review and reflection of the past year’s events and initiate strategic planning for the upcoming year.

We create and contemplate lists of resolutions, often featuring some of the same goals from the previous year. But we convince ourselves that this is going to be the year for change and transformation.

2 Corinthians 5: 17
" Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

King James Version

If your resolution is to heal from the wounds of past abuse, then ACE Overcomers is here to help you get healthy and to take better care of yourself.

The ACE Overcomers Roadmap
The ACE Overcomers roadmap is a simple twelve-step process to overcome the effects of adverse childhood experiences (ACE).  If you or someone you know has experienced childhood trauma, abuse, or family dysfunction, you will find healing and restoration in these lessons.  Once these twelve steps are completed, you will have all the tools needed to empower a personal journey of recovery.

I think the "faith in God" part might discourage an atheist from the other very powerful suggestions.  What about "Spiritual connections" as an alternative...  could be music, nature, service, etc.

Phil Schmauss, Thank You for this. I thought my recent  'PTSD symptom' recurrence of a 'Fore-shortened sense of the Future' might have been 'exacerbated' by [life-threatening] physical health diagnoses in the past year, as well as my current age. Having such a tool as this may allow me to challenge 'cognitive distortions' and/or intrusive recollections of a number of childhood ACEs (although my 'resilience score' seemingly exceeded my 'ACE' score by 4 points). I also just shared this with 'A younger colleague' who had told me of some of his 'ACEs'. I hope the New Year finds you in good health and good spirits, as well as all my AcesConnection.com colleagues.
