"Before going through the program, she said she lacked the confidence to be a good mother and didn't have the self-esteem to set and achieve goals, like her cookbook and couponing class. She's learning that if she writes down her goals and dreams, the more likely she will work toward them.
"The nurses open your heart to goals you never thought were possible," she said. "I am more confident and stronger."
"Morris said the struggles Stoner has been through are similar to the struggles her other patients go through.
"The Nurse-Family Partnership changed my life," she said. "They made me the mom and person I am today."
