Very powerful. Thanks for posting this, Karen. I've read Blow's columns about this, but hearing and watching him talk about it is gripping.

I agree that Blow addresses in such a powerful way what hasn't been in the discussion enough about Dr. Ford coming forth -- how deeply trauma affects a life for years, and how hard it is to talk about it, particularly because of the shaming in our culture, the unwillingness -- still  for many to take these kinds of allegations seriously. Thanks Karen for posting this!

Charles Blow is such a powerful, articulate, survivor of CSA. Never before have I witnessed someone describe the visceral and emotional experiences of walking in the shoes of a survivor of CSA. I am so grateful for his voice and passion. I can only imagine the level of self-regulation he needed to harness to be able to be a powerful spokesperson for all of us who have survived CSA.  Thank you for sharing ...
