I agree that Blow addresses in such a powerful way what hasn't been in the discussion enough about Dr. Ford coming forth -- how deeply trauma affects a life for years, and how hard it is to talk about it, particularly because of the shaming in our culture, the unwillingness -- still for many to take these kinds of allegations seriously. Charles Blow is such a powerful, articulate, survivor of CSA. Never before have I witnessed someone describe the visceral and emotional experiences of walking in the shoes of a survivor of CSA.
