People who experienced the death of a parent in childhood appear to be more likely to die prematurely themselves, new research shows.
A study that tracked more than 7 million people for up to 42 years found that people who lost a parent before they turned 18 were 50% more likely to die during the course of the study than people who made it to adulthood with both parents still alive.
