I vote for "create a world in which they don't have to be exposed to trauma in the first place." :) Thanks for the US News link, Laura! The AP picked up the story, as well.

Thanks for sharing, Chris. This research leaves me thinking we need to do more clinical studies about how to best support kids after trauma, but perhaps more importantly, create a world in which they don't have to be exposed to trauma in the first place.
