Sue Fort White, Ed.D. will be the special guest on the "Breaking the Silence with Dr. Gregory Williams" radio program this Sunday evening at 8:00 pm Central Standard Time.
Sue Fort White, Ed.D. has been the Executive Director of Our Kids for almost fourteen years. Sue has devoted her career to creating access to information, resources and services for underserved populations such as teens and families in crisis, victims of child sexual abuse and domestic violence, women in prison, refugee and immigrant women and children in foster care. Her work at Our Kids is a natural progression reflecting her desire to advocate for children and strengthen families and communities by expanding access to expert, trauma-informed services. She is very proud of the “What If I Told You?” national campaign to raise awareness about the epidemic prevalence of child sexual abuse which was launched in September 2018. In her words, “Our only goal is to reach as many people as possible with information and resources about child sexual abuse. Information is power, and resources are medicine.”
This will be a program that will be filled with lots of information and discussion about ACEs. You can hear the radio show Sunday evening by hitting this link: https://bbsradio.com/bbs_player/bbs_fplayer.php
