The Fourth Annual Capital District Symposium on Adverse Childhood Experiences, Trauma, and Response

I just wanted to take a moment to tell the community how excited I, and the rest of our staff at LaSalle School, are about our upcoming Fourth Annual Capital District ACEs Symposium happening tomorrow, May 5. I posted the event in the calendar some weeks back, and I am proud to say that we successfully filled the room and had to close registration two weeks ago. This means that more than 900 people from a wide range of sectors including health care, education, juvenile justice, police, courts, corrections, and human service will be learning about ACEs and resilience all day! This symposium, available at no cost thanks to a number of great partners and our work with the MARC Project through the HEARTS Initiative and the Change in Mind Initiative, has the potential for long lasting impacts.
