The Neighborhood Resilience Project Launches the Inaugural Trauma Informed Community Development Foundations Course.



After years of collaborative work in addressing community trauma, the Neighborhood Resilience Project celebrates the announcement of "Foundations of Trauma Informed Community Development", an online course in partnership with Linfield University. This course has enabled the organization to put years of research, practice, learning and reflection into a format that enables profound understanding of trauma in communities as well as informs impactful intervention.



The Trauma- Informed Community Development Foundations Course is designed for service leaders, community activists, government employees and concerned citizens. This course gives participants a toolkit with which to build healthy and resilient communities. The program is led by experts in the practice of Trauma Informed Community Development.



The insendi learning platform allows educational organizations, like Linfield, to craft highly interactive and engaging courses. insendi, a Study Group Company, partners with other leading universities around the world, including the University of Oxford, University of Melbourne, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Johns Hopkins University.



Trauma Informed Community Development Foundations Course is a 5 week - 20 hour asynchronous class with a live class each Thursday at 12 pm EST.
