Welcome Resilient Amador (CA) community site on ACEs Connection!
In 2017, in response to the ACEs Study findings and community needs, the Amador Child Abuse Prevention Council and a wide range of community partners took a collective impact approach by developing Resilient Amador.
This community-wide solution to ACEs is working on prevention efforts and improving services through trauma-informed approaches and services within our diverse communities. Working together they can create a trauma-informed community through education, prevention, support, and advocacy.
Though they are in the early stages of their collective work, they are already building momentum in bringing more awareness of the effects of trauma as well as creating ways of building resilience in those that call Amador County home.
The Community Manager is Tracy Carlton (pictured below), Project Coordinator, Amador Child Abuse Prevention Council. We are thrilled to have them as part of our ACEs Connection Community of Communities and look forward to them sharing the great work they are doing in Amador County!
