What Does the PISA Report Tell Us About U.S. Education?

PISA stands for Programme for International Student Assessment, which is done every three years in 70 countries. PISA is published by the OECD -- Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development -- a 50-year-old organization that provides independent evaluations on common issues for 34 nations around the world. 

This overview is fascinating in that it echoes some of the same recommendations coming out of the trauma-sensitive schools and early childhood education movements.
