Question: Though the city is out of the schools business, city government has a role in the lives of its younger citizens. What would you do to enhance the lives of young people?

Leo Awgowhat: Teach children to Just say “no” to drugs ... Smoke pot.

Harold Collins: We should always be in the business of supporting the healthy development of children in our city. One negative aspect of the vote that surrendered the school district charter is that there is now a disconnection between the city of Memphis and public education. We can reset the button with leadership that will work with schools.
