Women who suffered physical or emotional abuse as children often die at a younger age than other women, a new study suggests. Researchers found that among nearly 6,300 middle-aged U.S. adults, female survivors of child abuse were more likely to die over the next 20 years, versus other women. And the worse the abuse was, the greater the impact appeared to be on a woman's life span.
