"Stress, Health & Health Equity" will focus stress and the mechanisms through which stress influences health. Speakers, including Dr. Vincent Felitti, will address different types of stressors, including environmental, economic, workplace, and discrimination.

The symposium is hosted by the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity, the UCLA Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network, the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.

Symposium is attended by leaders of community-based organizations; city, county and state public health workers; healthcare providers, faculty and students.
