This is an interactive Zoom workshop designed to introduce participants to the fun, relaxing, and healing practice of junk journaling. In addition to the nuts and bolts creative instruction, this workshop will also introduce junk journaling as a way to foster social-emotional-spiritual resilience for yourself and your family during Shelter In Place.
This workshop is intended for adults, but children are welcome to join in, too! You will learn everything you need to know to jump into this delightful practice and make it your own.
To register, email me, Angela, at ajernigan@gmail.com with "Register me for Junk Journaling" in the subject. In the body of your message, just give me your full name, indicate whether you want to be on my emailing list for future resilience offerings, and I will send you:
- My (almost finished!) E-book called, "A Junk Journal is...."
- The Zoom link for Saturday's workshop
- A list of suggested supplies to bring
This workshop is free to attend, however I will be accepting donations to help buy mixed media art supplies for the high-risk youth in Berkeley's Voices Against Violence program....so that I can continue Junk Journaling with them during Shelter In Place... And supporting *their* creative resilience through this pandemic. No donation REQUIRED to attend, however.
It takes a community to raise deep and lasting resilience! Let's be an US!
