The American Association of Children’s Residential Centers (AACRC) will present a webinar on the CDC/Kaiser Permanente Adverse Childhood Experiences Study (ACES).
The seminal ACES research examined the long-term effects of childhood adversity on the health outcomes of 17,000 participants. The study found that ACEs are strong predictors of later health risk and disease. This webinar will offer an overview of the ACE Study, and discuss how community organizations can use the ACES findings as a powerful tool for empowering their service communities.
