ACEs Tech Talks are recurring online events held by the ACEs Tech Task Force where we'll ideate and discuss the needs and ideas of the community on how to support people with ACEs, and the professionals helping them, with innovative technology that makes screening and on-going support easier and more scalable.
The aim of the ACEs Tech Task Force is to build open source, open content smartphone and tablet apps and web-based systems that implement these ideas in close collaboration with the community. We will be discussing media like chatbots (for example on Facebook and using SMS), smartphone apps, websites, and more.
However, it is key that the technology products we develop to support the community are well-designed and usable, so that we don't design and build stuff that nobody will really use, or that people will find too hard to use. That is why your involvement in the tech talks is of paramount importance to the success of the community effort to build ACE technology.
Agenda
The agenda for the first meeting is as follows:
- Introduction (app. 5-10 min., Thomas)
A quick, informal intro and status report - Discussion and ideation (app. 45 min., everybody)
We discuss and ideate on uses of technology to support the community, that will help form the basis of some of the projects that we will chose to undertake
