The forum comprises a reception, dinner and speakers on the evening of Dec. 4, which costs $150, and a Capitol Hill briefing the morning of Dec. 5. The format will be a dialogue among behavioral health leaders, the broader health policy community and legislative staff on the need for wider support of community engagement activities in behavioral health promotion.

The Forum will discuss community-wide efforts to improve health and well-being.  We will hear from selected leaders of these efforts from across the country and have an opportunity for dialogue with them.

The Dinner and Capitol Hill Briefing will include presentations and panel participation from:

  • Dr. Vincent Felitti, Co-Principal Investigator,  Adverse Childhood Experiences Study
  • Dr. Carolyn Jenkins, Principal Investigator, REACH U.S. SEA-Center of Excellence in the Elimination of Diabetes and Disparities
  • Dr. Arthur Evans, Commissioner, Philadelphia Dep’t. of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services
