Organized By: Spokane Regional Health District

The Spokane Regional Health District is sponsoring a free 6-hour training. Registration deadline: Sept. 10.

Current research that shows:

  • Adverse experiences in childhood can actually change our brains.
  • These changes can lead to chronic disease and poor health, problems in learning, problems forming supportive relationships, and a low tolerance for stress.

How we can change these outcomes. Join us and learn:

  • What we can do to protect the brain from the long-term consequences of ACEs, and reduce the risk of negative health outcomes.
  • How to improve our relationships through attachment.
  • How to take care of ourselves when living, working, or spending time with those who have been exposed to ACEs.
