CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION:
The aim of the conference is to bring together local and international experts
from multiple disciplines such as education, early childhood, health, and mental health, to raise the awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences and to review research and practices that benefit the whole child.
Our goal is to improve cross-sector collaboration and increase ways we can work together to strengthen systems that help children and families who have faced adversity. In addition, for attendees to walk away with practical tools they can use immediately.
A TWO-DAY CONFERENCE FOR:
• Pediatricians and other clinicians
• Practitioners working in health care, education, Family Services, case workers
and mental health providers
• Private, government and non-profit sector professionals in criminal justice,
education
