“An Overview of Public Opinion and Discourse on Criminal Justice Issues” [Webinar

America’s experiment with mass incarceration is being scrutinized and critiqued as never before. We’ll discuss this promising trend in our upcoming webinar, and also examine ways to address the criminalization of people in vulnerable situations, especially those facing stigma and discrimination related to their gender and sexuality.

The report, “An Overview of Public Opinion and Discourse on Criminal Justice Issues,” examines the American public discourse on crime, the criminal justice system, and criminal justice reform.

The Opportunity Agenda will present an interactive webinar on this exciting new research at 2:00 p.m. (EST) on Dec. 3

Director of Law and Advocacy Juhu Thukral will lead the conversation with guest panelists Glenn Martin, founder of JustLeadershipUSA; Crystal DeBoise, Co-Director of The Sex Workers Project of the Urban Justice Center; Loren Siegel, Researcher and Advocate; and Julie Fisher-Rowe, Senior Coordinator on Framing and Messaging at The Opportunity Agenda.
