Attachment is as important to child development as nutrition. All children need respectful, responsive consistent, sensitive and loving care. This presentation will offer insight to the fundamental issues of attachment disorder and how we can reflect on our own attachment styles to better meet children's needs.
Keynote Speaker Dr. Laurie Daly, is a Professor of Early Childhood Education at Lake County Campus of Woodland Community College. Dr. Daly’s research is centered on children's behavior and its influences. She is published in the journal of “Early Childhood Research and Practices. In addition she has published a book “ Let’s Have Fun!” and has been focused on children's development for 34 years.
