WHY ATTEND?

Trauma is widespread among substance-involved women and has profound and long-lasting impacts. These free information sessions will help to build knowledge of trauma-informed practices, introduce participants to the comprehensive guidelines published in Trauma Matters, and help build an understanding of how they can be used to improve services for women.

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

-Service providers who work with substance-involved women, including those from addictions and other health care services, social services, the criminal justice system, child welfare, and other allied sector services

-System planners, policy developers, funders, evaluators, educators and academic institutions
